T-34

T-34

Comedian Al Murray (The Pub Landlord) will be swapping his bar stool for a drum stool when his band, T-34 appears at The Download Festival on Sunday 13th June at 6.00pm on The Red Bull Stage.

Al said “I’ve played theatres and venues and arenas all over the world, but I can’t quite believe I’m going to be able to say I’ve played Download”

Named after the most successful medium tank of the Second World War and armed with an arsenal of killer covers from the 60’s & 70’s, T-34 are defenders of the classic rock tradition.

Their mission is to liberate the masses from the oppressive tyranny of pop fascism through the power of straight ahead, no frills, good time rock’n’roll.

Formed in Londongrad during the harsh winter conditions of 2009 and fuelled on a diet of black bread, burgers and vodka, T-34 promise to serve up a Molotov cocktail of revolutionary jukebox tracks to rock the most hardened festival going veterans.

T-34’s influences include Red Zeppelin, Lenin & McCartney and Stalin’s Berlin period of 1945.

Come and join The Party comrades.

The Download Festival is the UK’s premier Rock Festival. A mammoth 5 day rock event, based at the spiritual home of rock - Donington Park.
