Car park tickets are valid for the entire festival weekend. They are available now for £20, otherwise they are £25 on the day as you drive in.
The extra car traffic is one of the greatest impacts on the local area, one way to reduce the traffic is to share any spare spaces in your car. Check out the dedicated Download liftshare page and Register Here.*
If you are bringing a motorbike, parking is free of charge. The bike park is located on the hard standing area in the West Car Park. Pushbikes should not be brought on to the festival site as there are no facilities to store and secure them. Any bicycles left unattended will be removed.
If someone else is kind enough to drop you off at Download, there will be a designated pick up and drop off point at the race circuit. This will be located at the main entrance to the race circuit itself and will be well signposted on arrival.

East Midlands Airport is the nearest airport to Donington Park, being practically at the end of the festival site!
If you are unable to fly in to East Midlands Airport, Manchester Airport is the next easiest to get to the festival. From there, take a train to Sheffield and change there for another train to Derby. Here you can catch the official shuttle bus services.
If you are flying in to Heathrow Airport, take the Heathrow Express to Paddington, then the tube to Kings Cross St Pancras, then a train to Derby. Here you can catch the official shuttle bus services.
If you are flying in to Gatwick Airport, take the First Capital Connect service to London St Pancras, then a train to Derby. Here you can catch the official shuttle bus services.

Notts and Derby are the official shuttle bus partner of Download Festival. They provide a link between Derby and East Midlands Parkway train stations to and from Download Festival.
The cost is £10 return between Derby train Station and Download, and £6 return between East Midlands Parkway station and Download. We have also introduced a new Weekend Ticket, which allows people to make unlimited journeys over the weekend between Derby train station and Download, and costs £25… very useful for people staying in hotels in Derby over the weekend!
The shuttle bus stop point at the festival is within the Shuttle Bus and Taxi Pick Up and Drop Off area.
